Day 1. Arrive at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (B-L-D)
Arrival in Addis Ababa: transfer your Hotel. After city tour: you first visit in Addis Ababa will be the National Museum. It houses numerous antiquarian relics and archaeological artifacts (most famous exhibit is the 3.5 million year old skeleton of Lucy).
Then you will continue to visit Mount Entoto (3 200 m above sea level. The Church of St Mary (1885) and Emperor Menelik II Palace. The Entoto Museum, with its historical exhibits is well worth a visit. Lunch at Restaurant.
After lunch you will visit Trinity Cathedral. It was constructed by Emperor Haile Selassie in 1947 (ornamented with carvings and mosaic and other artistic works such as paintings of saints and the apostles on the stained glass) and visit Merkato, the largest open market in Africa.
In the evening, you will have dinner at the hotel or external restaurant and you will rest.

Day 2. Addis – Woliso – Wonchi – Woliso (B-L-D)
Early Morning drive to Woliso (161km). You will visit the village of Wonchi where you will enjoy a trek down to the shore of the Crater Lake Wonchi. By boat, reach an interesting Church found on the island. The scenic beauty of the crater, walking, horse riding, boat trip to the island monastery, a valley with hot mineral springs, and with endemic forest.

Day 3. Woliso – Jimma (B-L-D)
Morning drive from Woliso to Jimma. On the way, visit sceneries and landscapes. Afternoon in Jimma, visit, the palace of King Aba Jifar and the museum.

Day 4. JImma – Mizan Teferi – Bebeka (B-L-D)
Drive from Jimma to Mizan Teferi. On the way visit Seka falls, have a short hike in the beautiful surroundings of Bonga and visit the Wushwush tea plantation. Drive from Mizan Teferi to Bebeka coffee plantation. After a short drive you reach the biggest and oldest plantation of Ethiopia. Have a guided tour through the coffee plantation and facilities.

Day 5. Bebeka – Kibich (B-L-D)
Morning drive Bebeka to Kibich. On the way, visit Minit tribes.

Visit around Kibich: Surma tribes (people and villages).

Day 6. Kibich – Mizan (B-L-D)
Morning drive to Mizan. On the way, visit Dizi Tribes, scenery and landscapes.

Day 7. Mizan – Gambela (B-L-D)
Morning drive Mizan-Gambela. On the way, Kefecho tribes, tea plantation, scenery and landscapes. Late afternoon arrival in Gambela.

Day 8. Gambela (B-L-D)
Full day excursion into the Gambela National Park. Within a safari drive, you will probably see some wild animals and many other species of mammals and birds. On the way visit some of the villages of the local tribes Anuak and Nuer tribes, famous for their body scarifications.

Day 9. Gambela – Asosa (B-L-D)
Drive to Asosa. On the way, scenery and landscapes.

Day 10. Gambela – Asosa (B-L-D)
Early morning drive will take you to Kumurk near to Sudan border town of Kumruk, get the permits, and drive to Fametsere, where under a volcanic mountain (which they call the gold mountain and have many traditional believes) the Berta people extract salt. Proceed then to a traditional gold market, where you can admire the way they do their market. You will arrive late in the afternoon in Asosa and check in to the hotel. In the evening, you will have dinner at the hotel and you will rest.

Day 11. Asosa – Gilgel (B-L-D)
Early morning drive will take you to Pawi. On the way admire a Gumze & Shinsah people market. Then proceed to very nice and traditional Agew people villages.

Day 12. Drive Gilgel to Debre Markos (B-L-D)
After breakfast you drive to Debre Markos (appr. 255kms from Gilgel). On the way, visit the Agew and Gojjam village. Visit the Crater Lake Zengena. Afternoon, visit Blue Nile Spring. You will arrive late in the afternoon in Debre Markos. In the evening, you will have dinner at the hotel and you will rest.

Day 13. Debre Markos – Debre Libanos – Addis Ababa (B-L-D)
Morning drive from Debre Markos to Addis Ababa. On the way, visit the Blue Nile Gorge, Debre Libanos Monastery and Portuguese Bridge. Return to Addis Ababa and arrival in late afternoon. If possible, free time for shopping, having a walk or further visits of sights. In the evening traditional farewell-dinner with presentations of traditional dances.
