The Simien Mountains National Park offers superb walks treks to view the scenery and the endemic wildlife, bird life and plants.
It is home to a multitude of unique flora and fauna species, as well as several endemic species of mammal: the Gelada Baboon, Walia Ibex.
The park is dominated by Ras Dashen, which is the highest peak in Ethiopia at 4,640m above sea level.
This trek has been designed to give you the best of the Simien Mountain. You will explore stunning scenery, remote villages and abundant unique flora and endemic mammals.
You will have the possibility to summit the highest mountain of Ethiopia: the Ras Dashen and you will also discover the escarpments of Sankaber, Geech, Misma,Chenek
It gives a wonderful mountain trekking opportunity for those who seek a unique trekking experience in the North Mountains of Ethiopia. You will have the possibility to interact with the local community and witness their culture and their way of life.
You will be accompanied by a cook who will prepare all meals. Some mules will escort you to ensure the transportation of all luggage and equipment.
You will visit the historical town of Gondar called The Camelot of Africa.

You should be ready to be on your feet for long time periods (6-8 hours per day and more when you will go on the Ras Dashen peak).
